Yes Yes Yes!  At almost forty minutes long Dialectics a masterpiece brought to you from We Had A Deal.  These german dudes give us an incredibly passionate and artistic album.  They remind me at times of 90s screamo while mixing with modern day post hardcore.  The interludes between some songs really surprised me but they fit perfectly and make the album an instant classic.  Go listen to it and buy it!

When I heard that this split was happening all I could feel is excitement.  When I heard the tracks for the first time all I could feel is pumped.  Capacities are one of the best new bands out there.  So energetic, so passionate, so awesome.  They remind me of mid 00′s Screamo, fast, loud, harsh, intense while still feeling very fluid and breathtaking.  I want to see this band, scratch that, I NEED to see this band live.

Coma Regalia, what can I say about this band that I have not said before?  Incase you have missed it, I love Shawn, I love this band, I love middle man records, I love how this band is incapable of making a track that I won’t like, I always miss them when they play in my city, I always get stoked when I learn that they are putting out another magical split with another amazing band.  If you haven’t heard them, I describe them as a band who you need to listen to.

Info -

The Catlin Elm opens up this seven inch with a mixture of post-hardcore and some melodic 90′s influenced emo.  The opening song has a great clapping part and perfect place to sing along to.  You know me I am all about audience participation.  I love how the lead singer delivers the vocals, introspective and emotional.

Coma Regalia is on the B-side of this record, the first song has a big sing along that reminds me of the beardy pop punk of Florida, there is an underlining screaming track that drives us to the end of the song but hot damn it is so fucking fun and different.  I am bummed that I missed their show last night due to work but there is always the future!

Starting off, the dudes in Coma Regalia are most likely the nicest and sweetest dudes that I have ever met.  Shawn (Drummer/Vocalist) has got to be the most inspiring person in Indiana right now.  Middle man records just wow!  Anyways, This seven inch should never go unnoticed.  Both bands are screamo power houses.

Sometimes I ask myself what do I want in the perfect screamo record?  This split delivers – Chaotic parts, Intense Build ups, Quiet vocals, and if you stretch it a little bit – sing alongs.  either way the artwork is amazing and I fucking lock Coma Regalia and the dudes involved.  Check it or Regret it.
